March 11, 2024

30/05/2023

Next weekend it is time for the 10th edition of the Quick ’20 International U11 Tournament. The organization has done everything to make it as cool and exciting as the previous editions including a fantastic field with 2 8 teams from 11 countries including top teams like Chelsea FC, Schalke ’04, Ajax, Anderlecht, Feyenoord, Honved Budapest and many more. Check out the presentation video featuring all 28 teams HERE.

Below is an overview of the program for the entire weekend on Sportpark Vondersweijde at Quick ’20.

Friday 2 June welcoming teams and Fabri League final

On Friday, June 2, most of the teams will arrive and will be received and accommodated at Quick ’20 by more than 100 host families.

In the evening, the final matches of the Fabrileague will also take place at Quick ’20 and the youngest Quick ’20 youth will be in action on the fields followed by the award ceremony in the club building.

Saturday, June 3: Opening tournament, pool matches and sponsor drinks

Saturday morning at approximately 09:55 the opening of the tournament will take place on the main field. 28 teams will be introduced to everyone with this year’s mayor of Oldenzaal Patrick Welman as a special guest. From 10:30 the pool matches will then take place with the final match from 16:10 to 16:30. During the afternoon from 15:30 there will be a cozy business drink for all sponsors but as far as we are concerned, everyone is of course welcome to come and enjoy a drink, a snack and music by singer Robyn Ankone.

Sunday, June 4 quarter and semi-finals, Quick ’20 champions parade, the grand final and awards ceremony.

From Sunday morning 09:30 the qualifying and final matches will take place with at least the quarter-finals at 10:10, the semi-finals at 11:30 and the grand final at 14:15 on the main field immediately followed by the prize-giving ceremony and the closing of the tournament.

From 12:45 to 13:45 the traditional Quick ’20 Champions Parade will also take place on the main field where all youth champions of the 22-23 season will make their lap of honor on the main field.

Entry prizes and raffle

Of course, members and volunteers of Quick ’20 and the International U11 tournament as well as host families and sponsors have free admission to this top tournament. Day tickets and/or passe-partouts for both days can be purchased at the box office. There will also be a raffle with some great prizes.
