Regulation

  1. Attendance
All teams must report to the tournament’s match secretariat no later than 30 minutes before the tournament’s opening (10:00 official opening). Teams must be ready at their playing field at least 5 minutes before the start of their match.
  2. Age
Players eligible for the tournament are those born on or after 01-01-2013. Amateur teams are allowed to include 4 dispensation players (players born in 2010) in the tournament. Of these 4 players, a maximum of 3 players can be on the field simultaneously. A player list with names and birth dates must be submitted before the start of the tournament.
  3. Duration of Play
We play 8 versus 8 on a half field. The group stage matches last 1 x 20 minutes. The placement matches will last 2 x 15 minutes (with a 5-minute break when switching halves). The matches are officiated by referees from Quick’20. The start and end of the match are centrally indicated. Only for taking a penalty kick can this time be extended. There is no coin toss. The team mentioned first chooses the goal, the other team kicks off.

3A. Kick-off
The kick-off is taken by one of the teams in the middle of the field. Both teams start from their own half. A goal can be scored directly from the kick-off.

3B. Back Pass
During the tournament, the back pass (played via a foot) may not be handled by the goalkeeper. A back pass that does not involve the foot (shin, knee, upper body, and head) may be picked up.

3C. Goal Kick
The goal kick is taken from the ground within the goalkeeper’s area by passing or shooting the ball. Both the goalkeeper and a field player can take the goal kick.

3D. Throw-in
A throw-in is restarted by dribbling. After the ball has been dribbled in, it can be scored directly by the player who dribbles in.

3E. Free Kick
A free kick can be passed, dribbled, or shot.

3F. Corner Kick
Corner kicks are taken from the corner points of the field by dribbling or passing the ball. In both cases, after dribbling or passing, a goal can be scored directly by the player taking the corner kick. The opponent must be at least five meters away.

  1. Scoring
There are four groups of seven teams. A half competition is played within all groups. After this half competition, the top 2 teams from each group play cross-finals for places 1 to 8, while all teams placed 3rd and 4th play cross-finals for places 9 to 16. According to the same system, teams placed 5th and 6th play for places 17 to 24, and all teams placed 7th play for places 25 to 28.

If multiple teams in the group end with the same number of points, then:

  • Goal difference decides, if equal then,
  • Head-to-head result decides, if equal then,
  • The team with the most goals scored.

If that still doesn’t provide clarity, then 3 penalty kicks* are taken. In all matches where a winner needs to be determined, penalty kicks* are taken in the event of a tie to obtain a winner. Therefore, no extra time will be played, except for the final. It will be extended by 2 x 5 minutes.

  • Penalty kicks must be taken by 3 different players who participated in the game at the end. If the decision is not made after this series, the penalty shootout continues with players who have not taken a penalty, and shots are taken alternately.
  1. Clothing
Each participating association must provide reserve clothing. The association mentioned first in the match program must play in the reserve clothing upon request.
  2. Disciplinary Sanctions
A player who receives a yellow card is noted and reported to the tournament management. A second yellow card results in a red card and exclusion for the remainder of that match and the next match. A red card means exclusion for the rest of that match and at least for the next match. Depending on the seriousness of the infringement, the referee, in consultation with the tournament committee, may impose a heavier penalty.
  3. Other provisions
Joer International as well as Quick’20 are not liable for loss and/or damage experienced before and after the tournament. In cases where this regulation does not provide, the tournament management decides.
