Covebo Uitzendgroep Becomes Premium Sponsor and Naming Partner of the U11 Tournament
May 1, 2025

The international U11 Tournament proudly announces its new premium sponsor: Covebo Uitzendgroep. The company has signed a five-year agreement with the tournament organizers. We sat down with Dennis Ikink of Covebo Uitzendgroep to get to know the partnership a little better.

How did your connection with Quick come about? And did you play football yourself?

Dennis Ikink: “My son has been playing for Quick’20 since the Fabri-League, and he’s been having a great time. Friday evenings were always fantastic — the coaches were enthusiastic, and you could see that reflected in the kids’ enjoyment on the field. These were fun and social evenings with a great atmosphere. It was our family’s first introduction to Quick, and we’ve had nothing but positive experiences.”

“As for me, I was a goalkeeper for a few years in indoor football with ’t Hoekje when I was younger. I wasn’t a serious footballer though — I was part of a friends’ team at VV Oldenzaal for a few years. Well… ‘football’ might be a big word — we were in the bottom division, but we had a lot of fun and shared a lot of laughs.”

Why did you decide to become a premium sponsor of the U11 Tournament — and for five years?

“Last year, my son had the opportunity to participate in this amazing tournament, and we also hosted a guest player at our home. It was a fantastic and heartwarming experience for our family. The way the tournament is organized, the dedication of the volunteers, and the experience for all the young players made a lasting impression. When I heard they were looking for a new premium sponsor, I saw a great opportunity — not just to support the event, but also to link the Covebo Uitzendgroep name to it. We’re incredibly proud of that.”

“Why a five-year commitment? Just like in the labor market, we at Covebo aim to build long-term partnerships — with both clients and employees. That kind of trust and mutual investment is something we believe in strongly. We see it as a true partnership: working together to grow stronger together.”

“We at Covebo Uitzendgroep are proud to connect our name to this international U11 tournament hosted by Quick’20. Its international character, the focus on developing talent, and the overall top-notch organization match our own core values — and align perfectly with our vision of the job market.”

Can you briefly explain what your company does, where you’re based, and how many people you employ?

“Since selling Effect Personeelsdiensten to Covebo Uitzendgroep, I’ve been working at House of Covebo. This group now includes 13 different staffing labels, employs 1,000 internal staff members, and is active in 9 European countries. Every day, nearly 10,000 people are working via one of our labels, including Covebo Uitzendgroep.”

“Covebo Uitzendgroep has national coverage within the Netherlands and a strong European recruitment network, with multiple in-house offices across Europe. We’re constantly looking for skilled professionals and upcoming talent. In the Netherlands, we operate our own testing and training centers where we assess and train our staff according to client-specific requirements. Our main focus areas include metalworking, installation technology, and construction.”

If you had to convince someone to come to the tournament, what would you say?

“I invite everyone to come and experience this tournament, and here’s why:

When you see the talent on the field, the discipline and mutual respect among the players, the excellent organization, the vibrant atmosphere, and the overall quality — one thing becomes clear: you can only enjoy this tournament! Come and see for yourself!”
